Hello My Name Is Nirvana

There are so many things happening at the same time all the time.  Its hard to stop and silence everything, step back and be able to just have a moment of actual peace.  Its amazing to think about how many people there are in the world, if only we could find a way to feel connected...the way it should be.  Disconnection breeds discontent.  I have wanted to start a blog for a long time but have put it off so many times because I felt it needed to be perfect or super fancy or have some kind of breakthrough never been done before theme.  Honestly though, all of that doesn't matter and ultimately has nothing to do with my real desire to start a blog.  I want a creative outlet, I want to share my thoughts and feelings with anyone interested, and I want a way to interact with as many people as possible.  There are a million different ideas, thoughts, beliefs, opinions, religions, styles, and people...the chance to be able to interact with even a small percent puts a smile on my face.  I have also come to realize as of recent, that I am not very good at finishing things.  I always have different ideas and things I want to accomplish, start, and then they always just fade into oblivion.  Well I want to prove myself wrong, I want to start something although it may not be perfect at first, make it better, and try my hardest to make it everything I envision in my mind. This is the first step, and whether someone reads this or not It feels so good just to be writing.

On a separate note, I have been trying very hard to be a better person in general...as is everyone else most of the time I suppose.  No one knows the meaning of life but I think its more simple than people think.  I read a quote the other day by George Orwell which really resonated with me and about sums up the way I feel about The Meaning Of Life .
"To see what is in front of one's nose needs a constant struggle"
                                                                -George Orwell
The answers are right in front of us but we for some reason need MORE MORE MORE, it must be something bigger, something deeper and something more profound. When really it's simple, and although there may be more layers, and deeper meanings and possibilities it isn't possible to tap into that until we realize what is most important.  To me that is constantly looking within ourselves to evaluate our decisions, thoughts and motives.  Constantly striving to be the best you, always wanting to be better.  I mean, more importantly than being the smartest, or the the most watever, in my opinion is the ability to see, recognize, and be aware far super cedes all of those superficial talents. Awareness...think about that.  Also treating people the way you want to be treated, which is a cliche but a good one that is so often overlooked.  I am not perfect and really no one is but striving to be better is more respectful than a lot of other things our society gives so much praise for.  The answer is to learn about yourself as well as others.  To make people happy and to make yourself happy.  To take care of your mind, body and soul.  Everyone is different, therefore everyone has different needs and what feeds my soul may not do the same for someone else.  If everyone was the same it would be a pretty boring place.  We are all different and if we spend more time looking in and trying to learn from each other instead of constantly looking outside of ourselves we would all be much happier.  And isn't happiness what everyone wants. Happiness is what I want, and within that I want to learn as much as I can, I want to eat the best foods for me, I want to laugh, I want to teach, I want to love, I want to be loved, I want to make a difference. So here I am, just trying to be a better person, and I think everyone should think about the things that are really important in life and re-evaluate what they should do to make sure they have the happiest, and most fulfilling life they can!

I am definitely going to elaborate on this subject in the future, but I hope that reading this has inspired some thoughts on your current situation and what the meaning of your life is, what you want it to be, and how to make that happen. I will be writing about all different kinds of things, from fashion & style to quantum physics & astral projection.  I am also going to work on including pictures with every post and hopefully updating the look of this blog...all in time.

Peace Love & Rainbows

  2. Hi...Must say..impressive post.. Actually I stumbled on your blog surfing on a whim on my name, the same as yours; Nirvana..Talk about connecting people ;-). It's amazing how I feel like these are my own words coming out of another person's mouth (well, figuratively). I come from this tiny island in the middle of nowhere; Mauritius and have about always wanted to know the views of people out their, mindsets, opinions..you name it. Reading your blog today reassured me their are others out there in quest of what could be..Well to make a long story short, a big thank you for sharing a piece of your mind and inspiring me to start a blog myself (I have the same problem as you; can't start or finish something. Apparently it's a Nirvanian trait :-p)..Will be watching out for your next post.. :-)
